Summary: The property is very nice, with a well stocked bar and pantry. Good air conditioning for the desert heat. The main problem comes from their communication system. Being from Australia, and with data only for our phones, we were unable to get any check in information from the property, as it’s all sent via text. As such, we were stuck outside the property in the 102F heat, with no way to know how to get inside. Had to revert to climbing the fence after 10 mins, which then raised the ire of the staff. I tried to explain that I had no other option, although they didn’t seem to appreciate the point I was trying to make. “Definitely dont do it again” was clearly a mute point as once one has the door code, then i wouldn’t need to…I don’t go around jumping 2m high fences for fun! Perhaps a door bell would help, or move to WhatsApp for communication like the rest of the world? The property is well located to nearby food and drink options, although a lot of their suggestions are permanently closed and need updating.
